hi, im going to start the game today.

im reading guides and forums but im stucked in the skill tree.

i mean, in the magic tree i see branches of defensive, ofensive, elemental, healing.

but the question is: at max level, can i be master of more than 1 branch?

defensive affliction and healing. etc..

is there a way to do a healer- buffer/disabler but with a lot of hp and good armor?

thanks a lot!

Yes - the skill trees branch off as you get higher level.

For instance I am master of melee (axe), elemental magic, defensive affliction. I also have pretty effective healing and offensive affliction capabilities.

You can level whatever you please :)

Because I am master of melee I have alot of health - even when im wearing casting armour and using magical skills.

Yes, he can.

and

Well, if you play realy hardcore 24/7 then maybe... *g*

Sorry, catching up is hard to do, even with XP-Catalysator Crystals.
But, always remember, those at the top are stuck there ;)

so if the people is unsttoplable coz he has masterys in all, the people level alone?

why a warrior needs a party if he has heal and magic?

I have been playing almost 2 years - and i am a warrior-healer-mage - unfortunately i am not unstoppable :)

If you maxed our your melee skill you could probably kill me as a mage without much trouble.

So you can catch up no problem in my opinion

well you cant heal yourself very much - and if you are levelling a new skill you cant use any of your higher skills or you dont get experience.

He´s not realy unstopable. No way! ;)
If he does not resist a spell then even he can fall.
The harder they come, the harder they fall :D

And a party is needed because some MOBs tend to do a LOT of damage, that even someone with many Masters can´t keep up to.
A 250 Melee Warrior for example, is not of much use as a mage, even IF he´s got the 250 Magic, because in his heavy armor he´ll most likely fry himslef, then the target. Armortypes mean a lot in here to different ways of combat. :)
But I´m sure someone with more knowledge of the Game mechanics can explain that much better then me.

Welcome to Atys now ;)

Because even a Master Warrior needs help taking down the biggest bosses, and during battle self-heals are generally a use-once skill. It takes an outside healer to keep you alive while battling the biggies.

BTW, even someone who is a "master of all" can be stopped, especially by a high level boss mob and its minions. Team work and cooperation are required at ALL levls of this game.

Self heals are disabled for a time after they are used. At my current level (far from mastery) if I use my self heal life at its max level, all self heals are disabled for 240 seconds (4 minutes).

Healing skills (healing others) can only be advanced when healing in team, so NO ONE becomes a master healer without a team. Afflictions generally also require teaming, as does care planning.

Bottom line, nobody is unstoppable, every body needs a team occasionally. And those who truly master "everything" generally start a new character and do it all again...

thanks a lot for your help.im meeting very kind people in this game.

i have been playing almost all the most important mmorpgs. my last one is rf online.

im looking for a good game, full of content with many years. this game seems sweet.

another newbye question---->

Is it needed for a newbye like me to learn crafting and/or harvesting skills or i should leave the profession skills apart and focus on dmg?

i mean, is a must to have craft and/or harvesting to progress in the game?
