Something to discuss/confirm

I was looking at some of the info on OP mats recently and something occurred to me about tool mats.

Unless I am missing the point of something, all the mats make the same 'grade' of tool (shown as a q10 on the icon). So, for example, it doesn't matter what quality of greslin I use, I always get a 'q10' pick.

So my question/point of discussion is this - what's the point of having anything other than q50 tool mats? Why have OPs that have higher tool mats? Why not keep the higher OPs solely for the other material types?

Or am I missing something? Entirley possible since I have only dabbled a little into making tools.

Im almost certain they make the same tool regardless of quality.

I dont know if you can get different quality tool mats - if you can then ur right - thats kinda silly :)

I'd say the reason is some tool mats are very valuable, among the most sought after of any OP mats. Would be kind of silly to see huge OP battles in a lvl 50 zone. Have everyone clamoring for the mats and the smaller younger guilds can't get their hands on *any* outpost because of it.

dont worry, i'm sure Nevrax sees it as a "next thing to improve" and you can soon build q250 too. ofcourse, q50 tool could then only be used to make q50 or lower items, but that's ok i quess.

Well if that were to be the case (there was a whole thread on that on the French board some months ago) it would bring in a whole new level of competitivness. I do hope they don' t implement such things though as it would probably mean guilds owning lower level Outposts with ql 50 toolmaterials would have almost nothing left worth bargaining for with other guilds.

On the other hand there' s those handy qualities attatched, now if only that would dictate what amount of boost you could put on such a tool.... foraging tools with extra focus, how convenient.

Anyways, might as well ask a question myself; does anyone happen to know what an Armillo-ammo crafting tool actually does?

it's been mentioned in past communication (Xavier or Marjo) that Nevrax is indeed considering implementing the requirement of tool quality for crafting itms of that quality or below; several things need to be considered.

- wheter to apply this only for OP tools
- same for other tools e.g. picks
- unbalance this may create
