Can you re-bind the default action you get from left clicking?

I havn't found a way to do it yet... they might have taken it out due to botting concerns...

Is there a way you can setup a key (such as spacebar) to perform the default action of an object (that is to act as a left click on the mouse)

It'd really make my life so much easier, I could play without the mouse...

On that same vein, can you remap the zoom controls or the context menu (right click)?

currently, there is no way to select some objects/npc's without mouse, but if you numpad is free, then try this

Actually I generally use the mouse to select raw material sources while harvesting, because I then can check how many mats are in the source. But this may only be neccessary, once you can extract more than 10 mats from a source. During combat I prefer the selection of teammates via macros, and the selection of opponents with the spacebar. I regularily use the mouse to select target that are far away, or move the mouse of them to see their name pop up.

I didn't found a way to tie any of the zoom controls (compass and mouse wheel) to keypresses.

For macros you may want to check The Ryzom Wiki. There you find a nice introduction to macros in Ryzom.

I'm not talking about selection. I can select crap just fine with closest enemy and closest friend. I'm talking about when you select something, that little box pops up saying either "attack" or "extract source" or "missions" or "renounce citizenship" etc. Clicking on a selected object performs that objects default action. I need to know if you can bind that left click to a button other than the mouse.

Ehm, well, just leftclick instead of right, so this window does not pop up. *shrug* No binding this, as far as I know though.

Sorry, I didn't got what you were talking about, because I always play with Hardware Mouse enabled. I know no way to trigger the default action on a selected target with a key press / macro. But I can't select peaceful npc like trainers with a key press eigher.

I don't believe they provided such in Ryzom at all, actions triggered by mouse clicks dont' appear in the macro selections that I see.

Perhaps that utility that was suggested at the top of the thread is worthwhile to try since there's nothing built in for it.
