Well, I played SoR in beta, bought it at retail, didnt like it so I cancelled. Deciding to try and play for 7 days to see what has changed, but I cannot find any decent info on magic users. Was wondering if any websites nowadays have any good UPDATED guides on using magic.

Heal, heal, heal. That's the only worthy application of sap. I recommend range if you'd rather inflict than heal. I am of course entirely impartial.

well... i dont really want to be a healer... id prefer to do all of the nuking

ATM I´m planning on producing some tutorials on my own as a side project apart from my other more "fun" Videos. I´m right in the middle of the process to find a good Voiceactor/ess to do the talking

The beta days of magic are long lost memories... Though some things now are better, that was a hella fun time to be a mage.

"Player Guides" are great when your learning new things and leveling... a large part of the community have by now mastered many things and some of that grandness has gone away. Skills languishing at the same level for well over a year don't inspire "new" guides. Many of the old guides talk about bugs, incomplete descriptions, weapons stats, broken skills etc. that remain to this day.

This community, as split as it is over the PvP/OP/RP aspect of the game, is what keeps this game that has not grown alive. The power levelers that remained did it typically because of the relationships they/we have here. This is our home so to speak... an old, dusty & somewhat incomplete home, but we are comfy here...

No player guide can be as complete as all the tips and tricks you learn from playing with folks IG. Ask your questions and you'll most always find someone happy to reply. Guides can help, but nothing beats a mentor...

(wow I can't believe this but..) I agree with everything I that I quoted here 100% even tho we have our disagreements and some people argue ... the comunity is still the best part of this game ...

Wether everyone likes it or not were a big family here in every family there is disagreements those that don't really like eachother and the close nit groups.. But in the end we still look out for eachother you will see at any givin time kami's rezzing kara's and kara's rezzing kami's even tho we are sopposed to be enemies and THAT is why I am still here.

P.S.DT we have had plenty of disagreements in these forums.but if you needed rez somewhere (unless we were fighting in an OP battle or PvPn ofc) Id still rez you anytime ... have a nice day all
