i was thinking that it would be really cool to have some kind of notice boards at the Stables (seeing as most people end up there) where people can post small messages perhaps for a dapper fee, this way homins could advertise what they craft for people and so on, or remind others of Events or OP battles.

Anyway what you guys think?

I like that Idea ...Would be some things to work out ... like How long will a note stay up? can't stay forever and a limit on post per person so people don't flood them ... But I like that idea

I would love this. In my first MMORPG, Ultima Online, we not only had these 'notice boards' in every town, but also had books that we could write in and give to other players or leave on the ground for them to find. We had a character 'profile' also that other players could access - you could write your character's backstory or describe their role, or put a poem in there, etc... whatever you wanted to do with the limited number of total characters available (memory has faded over time and I don't remember the exact count).

Back on topic... yes, let's have the bulletin board thingy, it can't be all that hard to add in... it could work like our in game guild forums and mailboxes only with global access.

hands up who remembers how long it look for the ingame guild forums to work properly

but yes would be great, just not convinced it's easy

Sounds like an idea. I like it. I may be too lazy to use a suggestion box if the stables were to get one...but i'm sure others would use it

Honestly, it would be quicker considering all the coding and crap, to have a sticky thread here for that...

and yes Kali, i remember the UO boards, and profiles anyone could access...just think other things are in the spotlight right nowfor the devs.
