Hi all, figured I'd post here and see who all is on the forum. I'm still on the trial, but so far I'm enjoying the game. It seems a little desolate in game, but I think it's because I'm Zorai, I've seen posts saying that it's the least populated race.
I've been trying to gather up some armor and stay current with weapons, but it seems like not many players stock the shops (maybe I'm looking in the wrong ones?). I don't really want to buy the super expensive NPC items, but I've managed to get a chest piece and sleeves so far. Does anyone have suggestions of where to look for shops that players stock. (Weapons (swords?) + Heavy Armor)
Also, is it bad that I'm solo'ing as opposed to grouping to level? Is there a huge difference in general gain?
Thanks in advance!

Greetings my friend and dearly welcome to Atys.
If you are at the lands where young Homins are starting their training it might be feel as it be a little lonely, but once you emerge onto the mainlands I am confident that you will meet many new friends.
The merchants hold items crafted by fellow Homins, yet if there is nothing crafted by them, the merchants will have nothing to sell I am afraid. Perhaps it be so that no one are able to craft ? Unfortunately the merchants there have little or none contact with the merchants on the main lands.
You can also try to ask regionally if there are any Homins around whom might be able to craft you items.
As to learn to fight by yourself that is a well way to train your survival skills, but there will be times when one needs to join with friends in order to success. It be also required to when training some knowledge such as healing.
Be well my friend.

I'm actually on the mainland now... (as far as I know anyway). Maybe I haven't encountered all that many people yet because I've been playing at semi-late hours. I've only played after work now, 10-11ish PM PST. So I'll see how it goes when I play at an earlier time.
