Ryzom

Ok. right now im out of game, will be for a few weeks more, after the "cold turkey" and other withdrawal symptons, ive been thinking about ryzom..

So this poll is asking about how "secure" you feel ryzom is?

Whether or not you can see Ryzom, or yourself playing Ryzom in say, 6 months? a year?

Its generally agreed that; Happy players = long term players = more players = more of the game. right?

anyways just somthing to discuss that hasnt been talked about a huge deal.

If R2 works out, is good and gets enough attention I think they're onto a winner. If they start playing to their strengths again after Spires I think they might be able to pull it off.

R2 gives the community a way to get what it wants and may/should attract some of the modding/RP crowd and maybe get some old players back.

Certainly I intend to go nuts with R2, providing it's more accessable than NWN and I can get it to do the things I'll need it to.

I'll play Ryzom until I die or burn out.

I have been playing Ryzom for over two years now, and I can see myself playing for at least 200 times that long into the future (I know I plan on living to 500, giving Ryzom another 400 years and then some time to collect my thoughts). At the moment I have a recurring 1 year sub and intend to keep resubbing for many many years to come

That reminds me of a quote from a game: "I plan to live forever of course, but barring that, I'd settle for a couple thousand years. Even 500 would be pretty nice." (or something like that)

Well I'd like a "ill play till Spires comes out then ill make up my mind" option, they are a worry for me too, aswel as R2... but anyway... we'll see I guess.

I'm fairly happy with Ryzom, but I have tried and failed to find something as good recently. I dunno what that means...

hmm... I think the best way I can sum up my thoughts is... "Ryzom has its faults but if there's something more addictive out there, I haven't found it yet"

I'll be here till i die - and if i burn out i'm sure a good nights rest will get me back up and refreshed for another good life
