patrols have been stepped up in the Roots? Are you people nuts? It took me, I don't remember how long to get accross the freaking Under Spring. Something like 12 hours of attempts? You hate us don't know. You really hate us.

Maybe it is because you aren't supposed to be foraging there at lower levels? (i.e. below 200, or even below 150)

Hey man, I don't forage that much. I just carry the pick around so I don't accidentally piss something off while running around. I only wanted to get to Zorai (I'm Fyros) so I could learn to build the Zorai 1 handed axe.

Well that's not fun. The whole point of being an explorer is being in places you don't belong. :)

Yeah!! I can handle (and somewhat enjoy) some running, ducking, paranoia, oh-my-god-that-thing-is-gonna-eat-me runs.. but egads, even HARDER than it *already* is???

You know, I got to thinking though, as long as they don't pull a, "Cutenss" routine, it my still be doable.

Hehe, think of it as a challenge then!

Being a tryker, we know all about that. Especially considering we can't even make it to the prime roots, let alone another civilization.

At least you were able to forage IN the prime roots. Its neigh impossible for us Trykers to even get in there without getting killed.

I'm not suprised, the Prime Roots is suppose to be for the higher upper levels. If you go down there earlier you have to be perpared to die.

Heh, going down there *does* result in dying. It's a given, and accepted thing for anyone whos been down there for any time frame beyond a few minutes. That I can accept, but I've been trying since I got my box to get to another land.. I don't even care what land, just want to get there and explore more, and wth trying steadily, every day, for several hours a day I'm still not getting through. Harder will cause me to just plain give up from the frustration issue, and I was given the impression even in beta that *inter-racial* relations was HIGHLY important, yet.. only a handful, if that, have made it anywhere. And I honestly sympathize with the Trykers, I've been to the beaches. *shudder*
