Hi guys

You may have seen a few threads over the last few days on these forums from people offering to sell you in-game raw mats and money for real world cash. We’ve checked out these guys and as you would expect this is a con. They have never even been in game to obtain what they are offering and when I contacted them posing as an interested potential buyer, the whole set up was VERY dodgy (pay them in advance and they will email you the goods???). Please be aware that these guys are not legit and will not deliver what they promise. We will be moving these threads and removing accesses to these accounts as we see them but wanted to warn you about their shady dealings. Deal with legitimate players in game to exchange mats for dappers as has been happening since day one of Ryzom by all means, but don’t be tempted by these other deals. If you see a thread that we’ve overlooked then please report it and we’ll nuke it and the poster immediately.

That reminds me of ads concerning other games, where they promise to deliver coin in game for real world cash. I'm saddened to see that happening here Go get 'em, Souls!

lol i think i indirectly did that to one of the threads, it was up for while, i posted my prediction it be closed soon. then souls once again surprises me and swoops on it about 5 mins later, gud job man

I also contacted them too for few mins and he wanted to sell me gold. Gold!!, as if there is gold on our wonderful organic planet .i griefed him a bit and told him if he gonna con someone at least research it properly.(doh, come to think of it i shouldnt have educated him)
