It's not easy being blue... (hello from Zorai Island)

Hello to all from a pair of new Zorai sisters! So far I must say my good friend and I are truly enjoying our forage into the world of Atys. (Arispotle server) After a long journey to find a new home, Atys truly seems to be it. The few people I have met here have been friendly and helpful and the world is just lovely.
I've been hearing Zorai are the least populated race though (Usually it's just the two of us on Zorai Isle) and I just wonder how that will effect things once we reach the mainland. Are we able to wear and use equipment of other races? Are the Zorai areas a ghost town? Will there be an ample supply of Yubos?
Also, would anyone have tips on finding a friendly supportive guild? We are long time MMORPG veterans that usually lean toward RP friendly guilds and enjoy both PvE and PvP.
Thanks much for any tips and hellos from Sylsfear and Lissith!

Welcome to our Giant Root Ball!
As I understand it, Zorai training island is one of the least populated, please don't judge the game by the training island.
Lots of Yubos and other critters around Zora (Zorai capitol city), I'd say 'port over as soon as you are comfortable with the controls. I visit there often, and always find friendly Homins about, usually hanging around the stables.
Anybody can wear the armour/clothes/equipment of any race, as long as its suitable to your characters skill levels and/or stats. If you need something, holler in /region, bound to be someone to help out with an inexpensive suit of armour or appropriate weapons or such.
For a guild, check the forums in the "GUILDS" section for the current
list of Guilds and their RP stance. Get to know the guilds and their play hours/styles before choosing one. Most everyone is friendly and helpfull.
Have Fun!

Welcome to Atys my friends.
Reading your little not her brough me joy knowing that there will be more Homins in the lands of jungles and spiritsm.
It also reminded me that it has been quite some time since I last traveled there and perhaps when I do so next time we meet.

Welcome!
I, too, am a newcomer and am finding that there aren't a lot of us Zorai, it seems. Perhaps we will run into each other while training. If you see Benob running around looking clueless, that would be me.

Welcome to Atys Sylsfear, Lissith and Benob! Glad to see more blue folks!

Don't wait too long to leave the island. There are lots of on the mainland who are very friendly and helpful. There is also a lot to explore! Sometimes it gets a little lonely in the Zora region, but if you have any questions, feel free to send me a tell!
