Yet another new player

Greetings and salutations
I'm hoping to try out the world of SoR this afternoon after I get home from work. I downloaded it this morning but ran out of time. I'm not that much of MMORPG vet but have played WoW since Dec. 04 and have tinkered with CoH/CoV, SW:G and a few others.
The graphics look pretty nice and, from what I've read, this is a good community. So, I hope to see y'all out and about!

Welcome.
Decided what race you are going to play?
Make sure to ask lots of questions, almost everyone is happy to spend some time to help. And dont join the first guild who chucks you an invite, shop around

I haven't chosen the race yet. The two that interest me are the Fyros and Zorai so it'll be one of those two.
Regarding guilds, that's good advice. On WoW, there are a lot of people who spam guild invites and it gets annoying. I'd rather a guild gets to know me before they let me in. In the long run, that's best for me and a potential guild I would join.

Good thought. I´m not of this Server but I agree with getting to know the avaliabe guilds.
I´m sure they´re all nice and freindly but its your choice after all.
I don´t think there will be much "Guild invite Spam" here.
Only think thay may happen is that some folks may try to bribe you with Itmes.
But most folks who´ll invite you to trade something, are decent and just friendly
So, don´t be scared when someone offers to help you out with something usefull. They don´t bite, they just want to play
