Ryzom Age Census

I wondered what the average age is for the Ryzom player. This community is to me more mature compared to other games. I thought to start a poll to get an idea on how mature the community is. Participation is optional and appreciated. Thank you.
I'll start the poll.

While I congratulate minimee for the idea of a poll on player age (even it will be only forums users age which is certainly different from player age) I am very amused at the age ranges offered for voting here.
Of course there might be a substantial average difference in mentality between 18 and 25 years old (7 years range), someone might even argue there's a similar difference as from 25 to 40 years old (15 years range), but for sure nobody could equal that to 40-80 time life (40 years range).
After all 40 years old is the time when most divorces appear, when most people get into a stable job, 50 years old is a good time for heart attack
for maximum professions successes and hopefully for maximum money earned, at 60 I think some people retire, at 70 more of them retire, and usually they have a more empty house after the kids have become independent, at 80 probably even the workalcoholics retire. Or think about their culture: the 80 years old people knew the Beattles, while the 50 years old were fans of hard rock beginings... aso aso. Placing such a small range as 18-25 (that probably doesn't say so much about mentality) next to a huge range like 40-80 (that doesn't separate loads of people that are separated drastically by their background and experience) will give you very fuzzy results, not really valid for any interpretation.
If you want the poll really say somethign about the forums players then it should have been more balanced in my opinion. And for that you should have in mind other statistics: what is the average of getting a job, the average age for going to a university, the average age of having children (who are maybe the biggest eaters of time in a homin/human life), the average revenue, when is one retiring, when his revenues become usually stable etc.
If you can use 2-3 of such criteria then you may give such a poll a backgroung so that it gives much more meaningful results
Just my 2 cents ...

Here is your change, arfindel!!
I'm not looking for any of the statictics you mentioned. I simply want a general idea on what age range are the players behind Ryzom. There is no grand theory or study behind this poll. In other words, it is my personal curiosity. Thanks for the input.

It will be interesting to see whether there has been any significant change since the last 'how old are you?' poll

The "oldest" Player I know is 56 here on Leanon.
Myself I´m 32.
Alive and kicking!!!
Btw. I read somewhere that WoadofWoowoo´s average Age on the Horde Side is 25... and 13 on the Alliance Side.
Last time someone checked here our average was 23 if I remember correctly.
