Just checking that's not just my computer, right? I can't seem to find mention to it elsewhere but it's not a easy thing to find.

if you're shooting while running you won't get firing animation no, at least not with rifle or pistol. I'm not sure if you still get the impact animation. you'd have to test that with a launcher (because it obviously has a HUGE impact hehe).
