Jenday, Yubday, Nanoday, Catsday, Foragday and Kamday

I saw the post made about the names of the moons and it reminded me of a conversation I had once about naming the days with some reference to the planet and lord. I don’t remember all the names we came up with, so I’ll make some up now as well.

Sunday-Jenday; since Jena is referred to as the goddess of the sun.

Monday-Yubday; because the first animal we kill on the planet is a Yubo.

Tuesday-Tuesday; I decided not to name Tuesdays because I think Atys should only have six days to make a week.

Wednesday-Nanoday: in reference to the Nano seed and neutrality.

Thursday-Foragday; consider day of foraging. :)

Friday-Catsday; in reference to the consumption of crystals on a Friday night.

Saturday-Kamday; to honor the Kamis and balance the cults.

These are some random thoughts and meant to be funny not taken serious.

Wow!! nice find. I didn't think there were actual names and much less that the week was actually 6days. Thanks for the links and translations.

Btw, she's also called "a false-goddess, the Night’s Empress" ;)

Hehe thanks :)

I was wondering about the seasons. I understand that we can only get Supreme mats when the season’s change, and only in the Prime Roots regions. I have found some excellent mats but it’s limited. How many hours are in a day and season?

well, that's not exactly right :) . It's right from a practical point of view, but the inner workings are a bit different. (btw I assume you meant harvested mats and that includes Nexus, supreme forest ecosystem up to q200). Supreme mats have their own "conditions" of weather, time, season, etc. and, assuming they did not deplete, you would be able to dig them during those conditions.

That said, since supreme mats deplete and they are pretty much looked after, there is a common rush at season changes to dig them (without going into details, depleted supreme nodes refill at season changes given some particular conditions). Rather than "finding" the aforementioned conditions, common practice is to rush there, and wait, wait wait till they pop (let's say that the time scales of supreme popping time window are relatively short).

Unfortunately, this means that once the mats have been mapped, nodes location and spots known, part of the fun of digging has gone. To add insult to injury, there are offline time trackers that allow players to sync time (we have suggested to Nevrax to either officially add time and date to the map, or to prevent that "half known")--> consequence "let's all rush to dig sup zun at summer time", which particualrly I don't enjoy (I haven't been at the zun supernode for months.. but nevermind)

I wish there was a random pattern to them. Today, it's almost impossible to "happen" to be there at the right time and dig supreme zun (unless it happens to be e.g. Forbidden depths or Land of continuity and no one bothered to go there till now).

points to sig.... current Arispotle's date (which should be ingame... dunno what takes Nevrax so long to add simple math ;-(

yeah, i agree that current "sup pop" is little bad design ;-(
but i dont think offline time tracker (which my site most definately is) is bad. it's common knowledge how long season is RL and when did that last time happened.
patch does increase season arrival a bit, but that only means you need to camp sup spot every 72min (1 atys day) to be there on time.

Interesting. That would explain why I've never found any. Most of the foraging I do is in Forest region GOC, TB and Bog. The only exc-mats I seen are Amber-by Yrk, Bark-in Bog, and some Big Shell and Wood near Hallowed Mountain. Never been to Nexus, sure would like to go. :) although I think that is a high level region and there would be no point for me to dig there yet.

Thanks again for the info and links.
