Names of the moons (followup)

Oddly, I can't find the original thread where I asked if anyone knew whether the "moons" in the night sky have names.

Anyway, since it seems they don't have preexisting names, I propose they be called by these:

Lor - the little bright one, also the "sun" (named after Loryen, who often inquires about various aspects of the science of Atys)
Drak - the medium-size orange one (named after Drakfot, the proficient storyteller)
Shyl - the big ringed one (named after Shylan, maker of the finest firewine on Atys, and possibly the most knowledgeable homin about birth)

All of these names sound nicely moonish to me. :p

Of course, you don't have to use these names if you don't want to. And I'd still be curious to know if there actually are already names for them.

There's only two moons, I'm still debating whether the sun orbits us or not :p We definately have;
1 Sun
1 Heavily cratered 'planetoid'
1 Larger ringed 'planetoid'
1 Nebula-esque cloud-type thingy :o

What do you call the last one? :D

I say we call the Nebula "the huggle cloud" with the ancient prophecy of he who enters it gets *huggled*

on the presumtion that the names may be adopted, there are 2 other servers, who may disagree with the names and i suspect there may well already be names of the bodies, i'm sure our ancestors looked up and though "what shall we call that?" Then its just a case of finding the name.. and any associated legends.

Tho as each is unique in the sky i guess that Sun, Moon, Planet and Nebula would be quite sufficient. (Much like in RL really)

LOL Aaj, I think your Consultancy stocks just dived :D
I did wonder about the other servers myself, but we're all supposed to be able to make our own way. Perhaps they've already named theirs, I don't know.

Looking at the Chronicle features:

from 'Kami of the lost souls pt 3'

"The moon was ensconced in the middle of the sky when..."

"....in a gale of laughter as bright as the rising sun."

various references to sunlight, sunrise, sunset and there is moon resin too.
