Some details like video card and drivers would help a lot in diagnosing things. What you describe is most likely a video driver problem.
But you can make sure things are free from data corruption and to force a repatch of the game EXE and DLL files by doing the following:
- disable your antivirus application
- delete the UNPACK folder
- delete the string_client.pack file found in the SAVE folder
- delete any string_cache files found in teh DATA folder
- launch game and click on 'CHECK DATA' button

Sorry how silly of me,
Some details like video card and drivers would help a lot in diagnosing things. What you describe is most likely a video driver problem.
-I have a leadtech geforce 6600gt 256mb
-Running DX9c
-Latest Nvidia drivers
-Intel p4 HT
But you can make sure things are free from data corruption and to force a repatch of the game EXE and DLL files by doing the following:
- disable your antivirus application
- delete the UNPACK folder
- delete the string_client.pack file found in the SAVE folder

- launch game and click on 'CHECK DATA' button
And i tried all of the above
So i am a little lost as to what to do because i realy want to play this game becuase ive waitied so long to get a CC and play it

OOC :
Do you have any settings for your GFX card set to override the settings of Applications ? eg forced AA or AF ? ( Instead of letting games / applications handle them ).
If so, try and set them to default values ( eg letting application handle all the GFX settings ).

if you already haven't, then run configure and set video driver to "OpenGL" (recomended for nvidia)
... or try directx too.

When you installed the latest video drivers did you remove the old ones first? If not, then some files that are in use by Windows will not always get updated properly.
- remove old drivers via Cotrol Panel , Add and Remove Programs
- reboot machine
- ignore/cancel 'Found new hardware' messages
- run video driver installer
- reboot
- tweak things in video driver settings for 'application selects' for anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering
- launch Ryzom

Okay, now can I assume you never installed Nvidia or any other GFX drivers before? Because if you haven't, then you probably still need something that will clean the system of any old drivers with
Nvidia/Nasty File Remover. I use this anytime I'm having problems. In fact, the first time I played SoR I had to do this since I found out I had some old conflicting driver files from a previous install.
