Hi, I have been playing WoW now for about a year and before that I was playing SWG (until it went horrible wrong) I have dabbled in EQ2 but never got into it, anyways I have become bored with WoW and wanted to find a new MMORPG that feels like SWG did when it first came out (Warm Fuzzy Feeling). I’m downloading the Trail membership and I hope that this great looking game will fill the hole were SWG once resided. So0o0 Hi again and I hope to see you all soon

Welcome Jimbo! You will find that the community in Ryzom is very much like the *old* community in SWG was a long time ago. You will meet a great deal of players that will help you in any way you need, offer advice, or just a warm hello.

And don't let the starter island be your only esperience with the game, the Mainland is a much different (and more populated) place. Come on over once you've got a good handle on the game controls and the first 15 or 20 levels of the four basic skill trees (trust me, that's only the TIP of the "iceberg"!).

Hi and welcome! I am a SWG refugee as well, I came here with my guild the day NGE hit the fan - and never look back. You'll be glad to hear that ryzom feels pretty much like SWG at release time (minus the bugs, of course).

Does it have the SWG feeling because of all the players that came here, or the other way around? You decide ... and another refugee here.

Hey all you Ex-SWGers, if you happen to know a few german Refugess, then tell them there´s a german Server needing a fix of new players too.
It seems everyone from SWG comes to like it here in our Game.
Thats great, but there must be some gamers left for us, no?

EDIT: And I hope "Warm and fuzzy" does not mean that you´ll join the Kami Side, eh? They do look warm and fuzzy, but so does a tiger.
