I tried the free trial awhile ago, and now I've finally decided to start playing Ryzom. I'm hoping to have as much fun as the trial, which was a blast for me
If anyone has any tips feel free to post them. But, I'm just mainly here to say hello. Hope to see everyone ingame.

Welcome to Ryzom! *huggles*
The main tip I can give is to try the mainland before deciding on the game. The refugee island is not a good representation of the game as a whole, the game far far better than that

Welcome!
The best tip i can give is to have fun
If your hunting to raise your magic/fighting you will do well to find a simular level group, and i would recomend creating a charecter and roleplaying it, as there is much fun and challenge to be have in that

Well, better say "Zoraï need help."
They´re a rare race, so to say
Do the UI-Tutorial under HELP, it gives you a short overview of the most basic functions. Ask for Help in Region Chat if need be, people will glady help.
Just do what you want, lvl the skills you want, get to know nice people and generaly have fun doing so.

Welcome
If you have played the trial, you should have the basics of the game, at least, so these tips are probably too simple but may help other beginners
1. learn enough magic to heal your teammates, even if you have no intention of following a magic career.
2. the starter amp is about as effective as a hand weopon as it is for amplifying your magic, ie not very much at all
. buy a player crafted one first chance you get.
3. there is no reason to create a character with fight skills, they can be picked up ingame more easily than the other skill trees.
4. Kill things, loot them, and either craft from the materials or put them on the market for other players to craft from.
5. Team up with other people. "Its more fun to do it with a friend"
6. Dont be afraid to ask for help, most of the more experienced players actually enjoy showing off their knowledge and skills
