No offence intended, but I think your perspective on R2 may be a little skewed

R2 is indeed being touted as an 'expansion', but that has nothing to do with 'content' as such. The idea with R2 is that the players create their own content - Nevrax have been working on the R2 environment and editor itself over the past months, and with such a small team - I highly doubt they've been working on content too. I feel 'expansion' is a bad choice of wording from Nevrax, but it's standard game-industry speak I guess. I'd go for 'content creation tool'
To be honest, expecting a team of Nevrax' size to deliver both a content creation tool
and new content of their own is asking a bit too much

My advice if you're after content with an expansion, is wait for R2 to find it's feet with the community - you should start seeing all the content you could want
EDIT: Thinking a little more, your question may apply on a different level that I missed - I think in terms of 'assets' as they're termed, R2 may bring some new things. The odd new building style, new map layouts (since R2 exists in it's own 'zones'), but I wouldn't expect too much above and beyond that. New scenery is unlikely, as are new mob types - neither of those would add anything to the game though, since the current scenery/mobs are both great - even if we've seen them for some time now

Personally, no mob in any game has impressed me as much as the Kipucka, and that still holds true
Note to self: Stop 'single-quoting' stuff
