The game improved a lot! I totally agree with the "nerf" of the double missile spells and i finally find myself cool with my 2h sword :)
I've seen outposts, just their appareance, and i totally love them.
I also noticed the temple of the karavan near Fairhaven...

I'm just disappointed with this Fame system, it's a cool idea that you need Fame to get some teleport tickets, but... Missions are very boring, and raising my Fame isn't so much interesting...

I'm also losing interest in raising my MA craft skill because i see like veryone wearing a q250 MA :/

Last neg point: My guild began to use Ventrilo, and i hate this T_T. I suck in undertanding speaked english... :(

Btw i'm very happy to being back in Ryzom!! :)

I haven't seen the OPs yet, nor the temples - desperate to get my TPs back before I venture too far tho :)

I'm in a very similar situation to you, as I returned recently - it seems the only TP I can get in Cities of Intuition atm is Zora - which is annoying since I live in Min-Cho! :) My mount will appreciate the excercise I guess, after 9 months in the stable :)

I have to admit, this was a reason for me not levelling crafting too, all those months ago. I didn't start crafting straight away, and when I did, it seemed I then had contacts for every type of equipment - and much better than I could make. It's a long road to walk when you don't feel the end result will be used...

Heh, not good :) Spoken English (I guess like many languages) is made more difficult to understand by accents. And even more so, if the speaker is actually not a 'native' English speaker, you have the potential for incorrect pronounciation *on top of* the accent problem :) If you can, log in and use Vent to listen only - tell your guild you'll be using Guildchat to talk back to them. Not the best solution really, but it means you can listen and pick up the accents you're hearing, and ask people to repeat via guildchat if you don't understand. I assume voice comms is only critical during events and OP battles etc., so best to go with what you feel comfortable with for max. enjoyment :)

As as I said I only returned recently myself, but it's nice to see other familiar faces returning, and also to see that gorgeous Ema avatar back in action :D

EDIT: Your sig link is broken btw, I can't see the full image anymore :)

Yes, I cancelled my sub in July 05, and re-opened it to chat in the "Where are they now?" thread like a sucker :D I didn't originally plan to play again, but in all honesty couldn't resist the temptation :) I'm struggling to play any MMOs at the moment for various reasons (mainly MMO burnout from playing other games), but I've set myself at least the goal of getting my Kami TP altars back :) At the moment I can't really leave Witherings, as I only have 1 TP ticket for each destination I visited - last time I played and actually explored, TPs were not stackable :)

I'd be delighted to come and meet you, as I think we only know each other from the forums :) Next time I log in (it'll be either Friday or next week, as I'm away for the weekend) I'll add you to my friends list :) It'll be nice to add a new name there too :)

welcome back both of you :)
andvice2 wrote:I'm also losing interest in raising my MA craft skill because i see like veryone wearing a q250 MA :/
actualy while you were gone they added requirements to medium light and heavy armors
you now can only wear armor up to 25+ highest skill. this has meant that alot of low-mid range crafters get alot of business from people. ql 250 crafters don't often make low ql stuff as orders so yoru services will be much needed i'm sure. also wiht teh new HP boosts on MA it has become a very practical option for hunting in. (currently digging mats for a set for myself ;) )

like daz said you shoudln't feel obliged to use this .. but logging on to listen occasionally will certainly help yoru english i'm sure :) so

go out of zora south gate and take a left.. you can't miss the kami temple. there is no built karavan temple in zoari so you woudl have to go to either matis or trykker to see one.. but dont' get too close unless you want a beating from the guards :P . not too sure where the closest OP to zora is tho but this link gives a list of OP's

good luck to both of you and hope to see you ingame :)

Excellent, thanks for the tip Sashtan :) I had an amusing moment last week that's kind of related - heading to Zora from Min-Cho on my mount, I spotted a Kami Adept. "I'll see if she has any chat options" I thought, dismounted and clicked. At this point, I was cult neutral - I think you know what's coming :D Yep, I whacked the Adept around the head, and promptly ran off swearing and chuckling :) She didn't follow, so I just had to get close enough to my mount for it to follow me to safety :) *sigh*, it was funny at the time tho :)

Anyhow, thanks for the welcome, and I hope to see you ingame too :)

Wooo Hooo Good to see you back Murasaki!!!

I still have and wear a wonderful Murasaki medium armor.

Don't fret, if it is what you love, do it.

There are many nuetral tps you can use.I saw a list somewhere but can't remember where. I thought it was on the BM website but haven't time to look up a link. As to using Ventrilo I don't like to either it ruins the illusion when the attractive Trykerette speaks to you in a booming bass voice :D .Daz killing the Kami Adept is part of the conversion to Kara. Good luck to you both on your reacclimation to Atys.-Kilgore

If only I could get the Min-Cho TP (which I can't), I'd be happy-ish :) Even though Min-Cho is generally empty these days, and full of memories of friends moved on, it's my official home, at least for now :)

I was surprised the Adept didn't chase me and put me in my place - I may have to pop back and see if I can get chatting to her actually, she seemed nice enough :D
