Hey there y'all Now, don't be mad, but I left SoR for the dreaded World of Warcraft. I played SoR when it came out, for about three weeks, and then dropped it when WoW came out, drawn in by the seemingly fun MMO. Sadly, WoW became utter crap and a job, not a videogame.

And so, without further delay, I am happy to say that I am coming back to SoR And I am very very very excited about it

And to think that I´ve got so many friends playing "Thegamewhosnameshaltnotbeuttered" that are trying to convince me to haul my A$$ over there, for it´s supposedly sooooo much better. *g*
Strangely enough though they´re not even enclined to take a trial here.
Okay, they´ve got a realy great RP Guild on Horde side, but well....
When I hear them saying: "We´ve got animals that you can recognise, and you´ve got those - "things"." or "We´ve got more players."
Then I always think to myself : "Well, we´ve got no Pwning, we´ve got innovative Races, we´ve got weather, we´ve got a real community, our Devs and GMs listen to us, we don´t have gold farming or botting, we´ve got smaler Bugs and bigger BUGS etc, etc."
Admittedly I´ll do a trial of "that Game" just to apease the constant chatter, but...
Well, why do you think I´ll stay here?

Tread carefully my friend, there are temptations in that other place lol. Most complaints are made after some time playing, and the early levels are quite enjoyable and time consuming - you have been warned (Of course you could just hate it from the start...)

Heheheh, I just found out the WhateverOneWins is SOLD OUT and Blizzard has stopped the production until further notice. So there´s no Risk of me getting Wowerized.

WoW! (pun intended ) They had to stop production again? They did the same thing after launch last year - in fact they went as far as recalling 10s of thousands of copies from retailers to STOP new accounts being created lol. When I finally decided to start playing it, I had to hunt it down (failed), and then wait 3 weeks for copies to appear *thinks for a moment* Did someone say EBAY? *polishes the install CDs*

I'm guessing they may have crossed the 10 million subscriber mark now.

Anyhow, it's good to hear you have an excuse I seem to have MMOphobia at the moment - for some reason I'm finding it very, VERY difficult to load anything resembling an MMO. I'm hoping I can overcome it though - I suffered it when I ended my brief stint with SWG in 04, but bounced back into Ryzom a few weeks after release
