Greetings and Salutations.

Like the title says, greetings from a new player.
I'm currently on the 7 day trial, and I must say, I am impressed with the ingame community and will be subscribing.

This is my 2nd day playing. Here is how it went.....

Logged into the training Island for a while and did some missions.
Then decided to 'take the plunge' and head to the main game world.

After 30 mins of exploring.......I died. No biggy (grrr).
Regained my HP, headed back out to what killed me. And, yep, died again.
"I'll kill this small rat of a creature eventually", I thought. And did :)

5 mins later, yes, you guessed it, I died again by something bigger.
Just as I was about to respawn, I got reserected. WONDERFULL ;)

I then proceeded to kill, die, be healed from the dead, etc etc.
I cannot remember the players name at this time so I cannot give them the praise they desrve for helping me.

My guardian angel then had to shoot off for a short while so I sat at a stable and awaited thier return for some more fun/action. They were going to heal me while I took on some Kipee to gain EXP in Fighting.

While I was waiting, another player gave me a better sword then mine for nothing (can't wait to be able to use it hehe).

Shortly after that, my guardian angel returned and off we went Kipee hunting.
5 mins later, the player who gave me the sword, went of and made me a complete set of lvl 4 heavy armour so I could live longer.

I really cannot express how the above actions have totally impressed me with the player community in the game.

10 out of 10.

[edited for typos, not sure if I got them all]

Good to hear you're enjoying the game and experiencing the great community. ^_^ If you have any questions, feel free to ask here or ingame, people will be happy to answer (as you can probably guess :p ).

Have fun, and hope to see you on the mainland soon.

Hiho and Welcome. :)

Glad to hear your Words of praise. I´m not even on your Server but it´s still nice to know there are others out there in our international treehouse, that think the same as me about rezzing Homins in need. :)
Just yesterday I had the pleasure of helping two nice Trykers just outside the Green-Seed village.
If you need help, call out in Region-Chat and say where you´ve fallen, people will come and seek you out. ;)

Mobius,

Well you're braver than me! Im still in the starterlands building up my stats - I might be tempted to stray out into the big bad world though after reading your post!

Have a great time!

I think you mean Riveit's sig mate, but you're totally right with the second bit :D

Hello there Mobios :) Indeed, what you described is the community I came to know during Beta in early 04, the same community that existed when I last played in mid 05, and it's nice to know that the good will is still there in 06, when it seems I'll be playing on and off again for a little while at least :)

You will see this attitude all around Atys, and I'm sure after your experience you'll carry it on yourself :)

Have fun ;)
