King Yrkanis, Lord of the Matis People, calls upon his people to display their might and majesty this coming weekend upon the evening of Sunday 26 March at 10pm UK time (BST) at the Yrkanis stage.

The King wishes to view the might and wonder of the forces at his command and issues edict that the guilds of Matis are to parade before him, to celebrate and to demonstrate the wonders of their crafting and their martial skill before him.

The greatest and best of you may earn praise from his glorious majesty who, at the conclusion of the parade, will have wise and powerful words to guide you in the coming days.

May Jena bless and guide our King and our people.

Well this is very topical, how impressive of the King to actually notice what's going on around him. I'm sure the Matis martial skills are without question and with their draconian measures their crafters are quite safe to practice their arts. Shame noone outside those lands will now buy those goods, there goes my commission. I won't be able to make the event myself and personally I think Yrkanis is still a bit sore after I misappropriated that dagger of his, so maybe it's better this way. Please pass on this message if you will, from the very bottom of my heart...

*thrrrrrpppp*

draconian measure? loss of commission? surely from your neutral position you are one to profit, as you are uneffected by such circumstances, so have complete freedom of movement and opportunity to sell on goods to those without the freedom.

Perhaps i underestimated your business sense. After all such a parade is a excellent chance to find new customers and traders. If you wish to provide services of your guild to a broader atys you must promote yourself, not isolate to a niche market.

I've never known Rashan to sell "wares" XD usualy he sells his body - either for physical strength/endurance or for .. other reasons.. *whos a HO, RASHAN!* XD

There better be:

A floating Yubo air balloon with pretty lights and trumpets, and a marching band following Sir Yrky throughout the forests, crafters following behind making random clothing and putting on hilarious outfits as they walk, and the warriors in front taking out the over-populated ragus/gingo population to make-way for Sir Yrky's parade. there has to be good old Firewine, none of that matisian stuff they pass for drinks these days, and yubo cocktails to go 'round! (servy IS for hire y'know.. *pokes game-masters*)

otherwise the event is just gonna force us to RP it into a good one! (not sure if i can make it, but will try to be there as Servy, NB has no reason to go)

If he does, I bet you do not want to take a swing at him.

That homin will most likely be greeted by the largest PvP tagged force seen to date.

I was thinking that the King may have the abilities to strike anyone down with one blow!!!

It would be awfully funny anyways.

Sadly I feel its quite likely the Karavaneers will once more try to claim Yrk as theres alone and show their religious intolerance at what should be a Regal occasion for all peoples resident in Matis or visitors from other lands to enjoy peacefully

Drop your tags and let this be a day of unity and peace for once
