I there some unwritten rule about running more than one character in game at a time (obviously not simultaneously). I have 2, but whenever I mention it (OOC obviously) I get met with stony (virtual) silence.

Is it taboo?

No. there are a few players who have multiple avatrs running at the same time.. I.E snake/Pliskin. ;)

I think some people *MAY* think its cheating. i think - if you got the money and computers, Why not? :D

Erm..Not that I'm aware of. I know many people who have several alts. But I guess it may depend on who ya talk to. I certainly don't have any problems with it.

Look at some of the sigs in the forums. There are plenty of people who use one or more alts ;) .

Good. Just me being paranoid then! :D

Btw, I meant not ACtually playing both at once - that would be nigh on impossoble without extra limbs. Just meant having one character and talking about another one. Whenever I do, the chat goes quiet. I thought maybe it might make some people uncomfortable. Hopefully not.

Just to clear it up, Kovacs (Sacred Circle of Guardians): Matis, and Xzahan (Order of Dragonblades): Zorai, are both me. In case anyone is interested.

I think the most important thing if you are playing Alts or Multiple accounts is to be upfront about it and not "sneak" in that other account to take advantage of folks.

People that use an Alt to be in the enemy ranks is a bit rude if you ask me.

I have a noob Island alt, obviously that doesn't matter. I think she just hit 30 forage :D and just a storage buddy. Don't ever actually play it as a character.

Actually, that brings up another question - is there anyway of getting back to noob islands? Some fairly experianced character gave me a full set of jewels he'd made himself while I was still down there. For free. Mentioning no names, but did he come back from above or does he live down there permanently?

Lives there permently,

Its not possible to go back, even tho if my memory serves me correctly the kami teleporter did tell me its a long way to get back - implying that it is possible to get back.. ¬¬

Could be you are seen as a security risk by the Karavan Guild , I have issues like that with my Tryker Alt whos in Ballistic Mystix so I dont have access to the Guild-Only part of their Forums ,my Main (Zorai) is Kami Alligned . I also have a Matis and a Fyros Alt

Obviously I have no problem playing 2 chars ;) I pay for 2 seperate accounts so I dont see it as a problem for myself or others who do the same. Its nice to have a permanent teamie and it enables me to further enjoy the game without relying on having to get a team together etc. The freedom it creates within the game does it for me, the extra storage comes in useful as well.

I suppose there could be issues with infiltrating other guilds etc, but you could do that with a single account anyway.

At the end of the day its just like teaming with a friend in game except things usually run a bit smoother and I decide what we are going to do ;)
