Any refugee of the Palin Pona tribe could read this as:
Community of Happy Thoughts!

If there are other refugees of the Happy Thoughts tribe, please seek me up here in Zora community house. We can rebuild the world again!

Miss you all

Have you heard of the language Toki Pona? It's a new constructed language like Esperanto, but it has only 118 words and is specially designed to focus on good things (think Newspeak in 1984).

This tribe has for a yet unknown reason (they never speak of the reason) stopped talking Atysian and communicates only in Toki Pona and gestures. They still understand Atysian, but refuses to speak it.

If you want to be a part of this experiment guild, make a new Zorai toon (with a suitable name, see the word list on the Toki Pona home page) that only speak Toki Pona in-character in /around (you may go OOC in other channels if you wish) and look for Miwekalili or send a /tell to him or my main character Ulani. (or a PM on this forum)

Pilin Pona is influenced by the WoW troll tribe Dimday but I've heard similar guilds have existed in Ryzom too. Suggestions and hints are welcome.

Because of the nature of the guild there will be no recruiting, all tribes members must be created specially for this.

(ooc:

Would it be possible for a non-Zoraï who isn't in the Pilin Pona guild to learn it?
Of course, I can just look at that website, but what about Jel? :p Ziritha might be interested as well.

OOC

I think that would be a nice quest. Learning 118 words is quite doable in-game. A translator would be fun! :D

I picked up this toon (Miwekalili) again after having him stored for some months and want to thank the people he met for playing along so nicely. Especially the kind homins offering him "yellow water" ;)

If you send me a tell in English I will respond OOC in English, and I hope nobody feels bothered with my experiment.
