Self-Built Homins Coherence

Not trying to post a guild ad as usual in the forums, but just to inform people of Atys of a new guild creation.
We're Self-Built Homins Coherence, by now a two member kami/zorai guild with a solid ideological base.
As soon as we were born in Atys, we received a lot of help from guilds, we were both recruited and given the usual guild starter pack, including weapons, drappers and tons of crystals. The fact is that we don't like to play that way, not having any trouble in finding 3k exp monsters to kill nor worry about getting new weapons or armour. And that's why we are called like this.
We radicalized against this, now only using self-crafted items, and rejecting the use of crystals not honorfully obtained through kami honour points. We know this is a handicap, and we're proud of that, even if it takes us longer to become high level players useful to the cause of Kami.
For more info, I'd also say we're into FvF conflicts, so we attend kami calls for help all over atys, in the measure of what we can do.
Contact us if you're interested in knowing more!

I'd suggest getting yourselves added to the List of Guilds.

Including an RP-stance notation.

Sad news
The ideologist of the guild, Igur is quitting Ryzom, and although we received much support from many homins, there's no point on trying to keep up a guild all alone. Due to this, Self-Built Homins coherence will be dismissed in short, but I will never ever change my mind to what i explained in this and other posts, and will keep playing like this.
Ma-Duk be with you all,
Biestable

recruit then
I think there are many who will see the wisdom of your ways, back in the murky past many of the Whispers trod a similar path. We grew and prospered through our own efforts and it's a great way to play.
don't give up just yet!

Unfortunately, it's not that easy...

We've got many thing to thank you, Rushin, as you encouraged us to follow this path, but having chosen this way, we've got little ppl who would like to join, and that makes a guild hard to play, as taking part in the Kami-Karavan conflict and outpost wars becomes nearly impossible.
So thank you a lot Rushin, and despite i'm not going to quit my actual guild in short term, i'll probably end up joining some other guild which fits more or less my ideology

Thats a much better idea... remember this though homin.
Once upon a time, we were ALL self-built... when WE started there were no high level crafters, diggers, fighters or mages to help you. We had to repopulate Atys from scratch after "The New Beginning" and those of us in the first generation since have had to claw our way to where we are.
You are CHOOSING this route (hopefully in honor of those before you) when others have done the things needed to provide for homins. Not many would choose this life of hard work when their forefathers established Outposts and guilds that can provide many needed comforts.
Best wishes in whatever path you choose...

Vguerin, theres not much i ever agree with that you say, but here we are on the same page. I use your name instaead of DT because when i post in the forums, i like to keep it completely seperate from who i am IG..it's easier to vent here or add silly ideas that i can keep seperate from my toon that would never speek such things, and pretty much keeps to himself. But anyhow i've been playing since dec. of '04 and can remember when meeting someone who was level 200 in anything was impressive and almost intimidating..especially when i was so new to the game, infact i can remember speaking with a homin named Itachi..the first AoD that me or a lot of homins ever saw(i even heard he was the first to achieve 250 ele, but who knows

)
I have grown up with many great homins and sadly only a small handfull of my original"family" here remain, but i stick it out and enjoy life on atys. Theres many great people stil around and much to do aside from grind if you have the desire to explore and adventure. Like you Rheda, I'm a supporter of the Kami and the new elements of PvP and battling the Karavan have,to me anyhow, added so much to the game. I have battled Karavan in OP fights, in Dyron, and in Yrk numerous time and have to say that theres not many Karavan that i don't like or respect..even though i take great pleasure in killing them(even being killed by them)..its just part of the game now
So don't give up Rheda..stick to your guns, make friends and keep your guild..its yours after all. There will be homins to have fun with and adventure with, and new faces joining all the time. you have to take the good with the bad, and starting out like you have and trying to build from the ground up will be much more satisfying in the future than trying briefly, hitting hardship, and giving up to try and fast track your way to a point that most homins earned the hard way(like Vguerin said).
Although you won't know who i am Rheda..I will drop some help to you IG from time to time..not hold your hand through things, but stuff i feel wil help your gaming experience and really build you as a homin so you can sometime have a good established guild that will hopefully recruit and keep new homins to help ensure the future of the game we all love so much
