I have a question, or a statement...whatever. It spawns off the closed thread about the recent attacks on 4 karavan outposts....but it's not what i'm talking about.

I've been 250 in forest and PR for a long long time now. I swore at one point (when KP's were still around) that I'd never return except to hunt sups. Well, I lied. I still go there right now due to the need for high q mats in my armor quest.

Now to the point. It has been stated and joked about how the karavan were dupped into not being able to harvest sups this last season change. I just have two words for that....so what. People that have apts and GHs full of sup zun and whatever are missing one thing.....the people to make use of it. What is the point of having 500 sup zun when you only have helped train 2-3 250 mages?? Is this a feeling of pride? I have what you dont? neener neener neener. I've not heard of such a shortage that the people that need this stuff cant get it. I currently have 84 sup zun in my apt, i also have other sups that will be USED when i get my armor to a lvl that i'm comfortable using it. Guess what, 84 is plenty for the need we have, it is about to get used for the people that deserve/need the extra power. And when I need more, guess what again....I'll get more!! The point is...I dont understand the point of people getting so worked up and testy about being able to say they have an apt full of sups ('ooh, but i dont have anyone to use them for except me').

So gratz to all the stalkers of poor innocent supreme mats that will just gather dust in an apartment somewhere...while you waste your time gathering stuff you really dont need, I'll be out getting another lvl 250 to help me take over the world(oh sorry, that was a secret Karavan thought, disregaurd)...and I bet the masses and masses and masses and masses of other karavaners will too.

All i can say is good job...you have enough to keep you and a few others in great gear for months!! But guess what. Everyone still has pretty much the same equipment...especially when it comes to amps..the recipies have been found already...no real reason to grind for it...

Exactly Heavyn. While everyone sits there and digs their sup mats. I'll be the one gaining the levels for use of the sup mats. And try not to give away any other karavan secrets. We would hate to have to keep you lips glued together.

Can see what you mean tho, my policy as a PR digger was only stock what is likly to be used, kept about 100 of every amber supreme (mostly cos we go through alot of jewels) the more resent "need" for storing zun is mainly the want for boosted amps which is okay i guess if u have the amber or time, but as you said wasting hours on something you have 100s of already is pointless
An idea, only dig supernodes they pop very fast and only the vorax to deal with, can spend 30mins digging per season change and still have plenty enough to keep you and your guild supplied.

I don't have any supreme ambers although I sometimes chance upon a few sup armour mats when I'm digging choice ones. I've never really got into this whole season-change rush although it has it's pro's and con's for uber mat deployment. That part of things is a big deal to some people and I'm surprised there isn't more fighting over those rare mats.

I can imagine it's worth having a few stored away if you're going to be using a rubbarn tool though

Actually, the seasons, weather, time of day, aggro baddies and all is one of the things I desire most about the game, so don't smite me for enjoying it.

You don't earn the title King of Nexus without hundreds of hours there. I would no doubt be lvl 387 Forest Forage if it were not for the DP and degraded XP I got digging Q200 mats. But I love every minute of it. Ask all of the people that try to follow me around on occasion.

If you're going to seal somebody's lips shut, you should really do it right. Glue will only last until the skin replaces a few layers, I think ... try sewing.

I dislike seeing this subject being brought up (yet again), and will probably kick myself later for even bothering to respond to it, but here goes:

You say "so what"...but yet you obviously found it important enough to post about. The simple fact was, and still is, that the Kami's little "trick" kind of backfired on them. They spent 48 million dappers to dig in PR at a time when almost all of the 250 Kara diggers weren't even home, much less online to even be able to dig.

Your post almost makes you sound bitter about the "event", and just as I am doing now, I'm sure you've given more than a few Kami's a good laugh, at your expense. For someone who says "so what?"....you seem to care enough to post about it.

OK, im confused, which supernode did kamis empty this season?

i dont think it was a trick, they really want to have an OP, u can dig sups all seasons on other spots aswell.

so imo this is nothing to argue about...
