Rather than submit a ticket from one persons experience, i thought it would be better to get an overall picture about peoples experiences with OP mats, in particular 2h melee weapons

from my experience of trying to craft them i suceed maybee 30-40% of the time when crafting with a sucess rate of 80 %

it seems to be bugged, regualary making ql 100 (lowest degrade possible) when trying for ql 250, its annoying to say the least to waste such great and rare mats making something that is just bugged :/

i told myself i`d stop making them after 4 degrades in a row at 78%sucess a few weeks ago when attempting to make a mace,

but tonight tryed 3 swords again and and got the same ql 100 degrades on each wasting precious mats that cost me near 20 million and 3 weeks camping boss mobs

Have you encountered similar things? i`m sure i cant be that unlucky.... made 3 ql 250 OP weapons from atleast 12 attempts in the last couple months at a suposed 80% sucess rate

I think OotN will agree 100% with you... I know it's not only 2h weapons, I got some sweet degrades, but not a personal weapon yet. It hurts extra hard because typically we use good mats to make OP weapons and so many degrades I gave up.

may also extend to using OP tools? had a ton of nasty degrades at 80% sucess yesterday using an OP tool

glad to hear its not just me, maybee if enough people respond here they will look into it

Fasinus crafted 31 atempts trying to get a boost on the new craft tool, not that many fails but you would think at least one would boost, you had the same experience with an axe scar?

might be the tools.. i got a degrade on a 20 zun amp today with an op tool - a q230 one from a q250 crafter

but the op melee weapons i have been crafting (without an op tool) havent had a degrade yet with about 30 crafts i guess

I never got any degrades crafting weapons with Tekorn brambles, but that was probably because I was making q20-40 weapons with q50 brambles with a skill level of 80. XD I was also using a regular generic melee weapon crafting tool.

I did get one failure using a tool crafting tool to make a q10 Greslin-Duk Drill Pick with a q50 Greslin filament. 95% success rate. Thought that was a bit odd.

I think the randomness gets cludged up. The server has good times and bad times. At 5% I have had 40+ failures in a row recently and I have also had 8 full Q successes at 5% success recently.

Neither of those should be able to happen. 40 failures is more than a full focus depletion and a 2600 focus self heal, and not even 1 crafted item! gah.

i have crafted 2 q250 swords with OP mats a q220 sword and 2 q200 amps with not a degrade yet..and my q250 sword skill is only at 66%

add..used tkorn, vendice, and mega creeper
