Do homins have blood?

I was thinking about how sap exists within homins/Atys and wondered...
Do homins have blood like we have? Or do they only have sap in their veins, making them a bit plantlike/magical themselves?

Huuuh, cool Question
Well, I think that it is some Kind of Symbiosis.
Kinda like the "Medechlorians" (or whatever they´re called) In SW.
But it´s not an Organism, but "something that´s in the water"
Rather like the "Spice" in Dune.
So, may the Sap be with you

I thought they had both. I'm too sleepy to go look for them now, but I think there are references to blood in the lore.
Though homins obviously don't have blood like humans do, with there being no iron on Atys.

There's also the melee skill called "Bleed" with a little red drippy icon, for what that's worth

This sure is a slippery slope... We do know that homins are humans, but we also know that their DNA has been changed by the planet and the terraforming gone wild.
It's hard to tell if their blood is just like ours. And if it is, well, that just open a new can of worms! Because if it is, it means that there are in fact metals in Atys.
And then what about bones? Bones need calcium... But Calcium is a metal! And then again their DNA has been changes, so maybe they use Silicon (
Let's not even realize that Silicon is a mineral)... But Silicon is too fragile to be used in large structures like bones, and hard for humans to excrete it from our systems... But then again their DNA was changed... etc, etc ,etc...
I don't know... I'm just going to beat a dead horse here and say that Atys is an impossibility, and that if it is to exist homins are homo sapiens just like us (
Meaning that if you take a Zorai girl and some dude from Alabama, you get a blue wife beater ), and the "DNA changes" goes as far as how they look and enviroment adaptability... That and the whole no metals/minerals idea is just the invention of a geek with no biomechanical knowledge whatsoever

I think the question is: Is their blood just like ours?
There are many kind of blood. Some animals don't even use iron to transport oxygen (
They use copper)... Must insects use blood to transport nutrients, but not oxygen.

Well its difficult when they keep changing the story lol , where do the Primitive's fit in if we are infact all decended from Humans ? or maybe we are all mutating back into our Human form from the Primitives who were warped by the Terra forming ?

Devolved, rather than earlier evolved?
