now i see there is both options for finding fiber, clothes and grip. all these options basicly find the same item which is the fiber but is it worth it getting clothes or grip if you intend to pick up the fiber option? is there benefits to having both fiber and clothes/grip options?

I have 2 digging branches at master and havent ever felt the need to get the grip/clothes ones, afaik (and pls someone correct me if i am missing something) they are completely redundent skills. Forage went through a major revision a few months after retail, and there was a complete respec at the time - no idea why these weren't taken out then :)

what we should have in their place is search for mission mat stanza's *pokes dev's*

Early on when SP in harvest is tight, choose one or the other (I would chose the mat as you can use specific "Shu/Buo" etc later, without similar option if you go for "grip/clothes").

The "minor" version of those skills are not very reliable, but the "major" version will be extremely helpful to you in finding exactly what you need.

You need them to get the major ones IIRC :P

I always use the minor ones when tracking and harvesting, what's the difference? I have no problem finding mats and the cost is cheaper for the minor, not sure if the major ones on a prospect help though?
