Barkology Research position available

The Evolution Guild is looking for an educated Barkologist who is willing to undertake a stimulating, highly classified, research assignment at the Main Drill at Evolutions outpost, in the area of the Lagoons of Loria. Experience with said fields is required, therefore applicants without any experience will be turned down. You will work in a team of specialist competenses regarding environmental concerns, safety and pollution. Having your own Mektoub is an advantage but not a requirement.

The guild is well known for its high quality products. Several of the Evolution line of products are labeled with QL250. All products meet the requirements of homin safety according to K&K rules.

Send applications to
Evolution, Loria's Rise, Fairhaven
or Ulani Viccio, Yrkanis Inn, Yrkanis

Sure sure, we need an educated Barkologist, but really nothing is wrong!
cloudy97 wrote:Recent events may have given air to a new breed of frauds. It seems very lucrative to spread lies and false rumours about outposts, blackmailing the innocent guilds for money. I just wont take it!

1) There is nothing different about Evolutions materials, they are high class as expected.
2) The OP workers are just victims of an unfortunate flu, and are home with their families. We expect to see them back in just a couple of days.
If they find somebody, it might be worthwile to have a chat with the old chap...

*Silk's post is removed, a small note is put in its place*

The position is now filled. We have decided to go with mister Proh-phessohr as head Barkologist. Evolution thank all applicants, we would like to keep your applications for possible future engagements.

Mmmm... interesting things this Proh-phessohr writes. I went to the outpost today, and found this report lying in the sand...

I just knew something was happening at that outpost, alhtough they kept denieing it. I think I will try and visit them regulary and see what else comes up...

(OOC: If there are more people who want to be involved, let it known please, or by contacting somebody from Evolution, or posting here)

Not quite sure what you've tapped into there perhaps a phosphorescent algae or other equally minuscule effect not agreeing with the drill. Has production been effected or the quality of goods delivered contaminated?

Dear Aajolea and other concerned homins,

We can confirm that there has been a burglary in the Research Lab at Loria Stronghold. We have not seen these papers before and are certain they have most likely been modified by Silk in his campaign against honest, hard working homins like the Evolution Guild.

I have asked our expert Barkologist Proh-phessohr for a statement regarding the safety of our products:
Proh-phessohr wrote:In reply to your question Aajolea :
Regarding what it is that affects the drill I am not at liberty to tell,
however we are working our hardest to find a solution for this matter.
But due to the recent brake in it has caused us a great delay due to the loss
of valueable research data.

I can however tell you that no goods that has been delivered from the
outpost has been affected by this and we have applied stricter control in
order to continue to deliver materials of the finest quality possible.

Dear homins,

Evolution is searching for a shady character called Silk who's deliberately seeking to destroy our hard work. I enclose Proh-phessohr's burglary report.
Proh-phessohr wrote:Yesterday when I returned to my room I found it to be in a mess.
Someone has apparently been going through my hard work and during
this stolen valueable research data from me.
This data is vital to the continuence of the project that I am
currently working on and I beg to whomever it is that now has it
to hand it back to me.
We are willing to pay whatever fee you find suitable for handing
these reports back to me.
I cannot stress enough how important and vital it is that these
reports and documentations are returned to me as fast as possibly
doable.

Willing to pay a fee? Now you're talking!

I'll send out a few feelers, speak to some contacts that frequent shady establishments and inspect the scene of the crime. It has been said that I'm an expert in burglary, I mean, in solving it. I wouldn't want to jump to any conclusions or throw around blind accusations but I'd like to know where every single member of the Red Ribbon Army was on the night in question.

Your data may be important to all of us, if there is some problem with these recently reactivated drills. Which there isn't ;)

Perhaps the drill is malfunctioning? It is Karavan technology, and though their technology is advanced, it is not perfect...
