Greetings and salutations.

I just came across this gem of a game a few days ago and couldn't believe what I saw. It is everything I was looking for in an MMO. The mechanics are absolutely phenomenal in the amount of freedom you have to shape your character. The character generation is splendid as well. AND, from what I read, there are quite a fw RP'ers here, so I am looking forward to meeting some of you.

I am currently in the process of dragging some friends here (kicking and screaming), but I feel that once they study the game a bit and get immersed in this beautiful and unique world (as I am... I can't believe how REAL the water looks!!).... they'll choose to remain here with me.

From the looks of it, I will most likely be aligned with the Karaven, and I am wondering if there are any organizations willing to accept a newer player once I reach the mainland.

(gonna be awhile, as I intend to thoroughly learn the ropes before I venture out)

Also, if there is any advice the veterans are willing to give (such as where to get magic amplifiers above the ones we get in our starting kit)... I would be most obliged.

Again, I am pleased to be here, and hope to meet many of you.

Well, new Amps are on either the Mainland or Playercrafted. So if there are no Players or you yourself aren´t crafting, then you´ve got to get your but to the Mainland asap.

As you are talking about lakes... are you on of the lovely Trykers?

...'aligned with the Karavan'... so young and so misguided

hang out on the islands until you can:

reach another village without fighting
edit an action
chat
fight without dying (most of the time)

help and advice might be in short supply as homins tend to move to the mainland when they have the hang of things so if u need some wise(ish) words ask here, or send a /tell to anyone you see replying to posts like this -)

Pretty much all of them. Might have a bit of a harder time finding a factioned RP guild, though. Try Exiles though, IIRC they're a Karavan RP guild. Or Evolution.

Yup, we try our best to RP Karavan in all public channels, but a lot of OOC sneaks in in private ones If you're interested, send Aneethin or myself a tell, and hear us out
