How about we start a guild of crafters who will turn MAT's into items ? For a fee of course.

That way you get better weapons, you don't get stuffed with extremely high prices, the market doesn't get saturated and you actually have a reason to loot ?

I'm quite happy to start a crafters guild.

Crafter of Swords, Daggers, Long Swords, Heavy and Light Armor.

Then, say for some reason you are really lazy and can't be bothered collecting MATs of creatures you kill we could have an alliance with a Forager Guild (which will be established eventually) and we could sell expensive High Class weapons (a lot of the foraged mats are are more effective than those that are quartered).

All it takes is a little bit of planning, a lot of time, and this game could function like a normal economy, + with a website with item prices or mats required you could easily get everything you ever needed, and more

Seeing as I'm not American - I live in a small country called New Zealand, and I think im one of about 10 players in the whole country.

I was looking for a name like:

"Elite Crafters Society/Guild for Fair Trade"

Easy to make enemies with rival craft guilds like this, especially as this way you even the playing field 100%.

It is all a matter of timing and patience. Which I hate to say, my fellow Americans have a HUGE lack of.

I am working on being a good, not necessarily GREAT, all around crafter/harvester. I am working on adventuring, for who knows, maybe on mainland the dropped mats will eventually be as good or even better than the harvested ones...and I will NEED to adventure. I am not opposed to getting my hands a little sticky in the process of advancing my skills.

Yes, I can easily see a THRIVING economy in four months. Once those that HATE crafting and those that are RACING to the top have hit the hurdles of need for better gear than the crafters can make yet, or they have left.

Either way, I am open to an ALL race crafters guild. As long as they understand that if I am a part of it, ALL information I gain on my own or in guild WILL be shared to ANY that ask me, in guild...or out.

Its a game your supposed to play and have fun not stare at your computer for hours just to find out that a good idea could never work.
