When I bought the game on the 27th of September, Installed it and started to play on the newbie island, all seemed well, the graphics were great, the skill system easy to understand, and the Creatures and monsters different from other MMORPG i have played.
After gaining a good amount of skill for my warrior, i progressed to the mainland.
Then it happened, LAG LAG Bloody sodding LAG, The game is a lag minefield, I sent a tickect to the dev's and got a reply pretty quick, "Ah we are aware of the problem and are working on it " was the answer.
Well here's my answer, Its has been 4 days since the lag got really bad, I have been playing for 6, Which leaves me about 24 days left on my free month.
If you guys havent sorted this out by the time my free month ends. I will NOT be Paying to play this game in its present state.
I believe you are going to lose one hell of a lot of paying customers if you dont sort this out pretty sharpish......!!!!!

The lag cames with the last friday maintenance. I guess they have found the memory leak and are working on it.

I hope you are right, Cilar.
The current lag we experience is a game-breaking feature, especially for players in North America and, frankly, there's no excuse that this lag is present since 4 days. Nevrax did drop the ball here.
A sensible business decision would be to roll-back the server code to the code used before the maintenance on Friday.
(Before anyone gets strange ideas, this does not mean a
character rollback, just the code for the server)

Replying to invisible people is like explaining the lag...
hehe, the rubberband effect we have atm does not adversely affect game play. it does affect movement, but once you stop moving aorund combat, harvesting, crafting and spell casting is almost unaffected. There is a small amount of lag during combat. but it really isnt something for everyone to be getting so worked up over. The worse of it is in towns where many people come into contact with each other. Where you are perfectly safe anyway, so work with it, lag is only ever a tempory thing unless it is latency based.. and this current lag isnt.

There may be a short downtime of 5-15 minutes to activate the changes. Our Customer Service team will be notifying you in-game, once we know the exact downtime.
A second performance hotfix is ready for testing and will be patched to the internal Test Server tonight. We expect this fix to go live sometime tomorrow.
Later:
Update: Tonight's patch has been post-poned to tomorrow.
See... they are indeed workin on the issues. i understand that the current lag is game-breaking but relax a bit, please...
