I thought this would be good for the couples of Atys to give us single homins some advice on relationships. Here are a few simple questions for those couples that have it all together. Ive met a few, some been together for years, others a few months, but they all have what it takes to commit and let love shine trough.
- Together?
- The secret?
- Met Cute?
- V-Day Plans?
- First Date?
- Best Date?
- Stupidest Fight?
- On settling conflict?
- On keeping it fresh?
- Advice?

I hate valentines day, the commercial stupidity that comes along with it and every single flower that I had to see.. I am so happy that my girlfriend hates it too..
My ingame character hopes that there will be nothing like that on atys in the future..

heh -- Keena, Advisor of Love --
I like it!
* Together?
Married 11 years this March to the lovely
Anzhye (see
this thread). Parents to two boys, 10 and 7.
* The secret?
Faith, communication and lotsa patience
* Met Cute?
Met in rl through a mutual friend. Picked up Ryzom last year (her first, then me)
* V-Day Plans?
Nothing specific this year, but been giving gifts for two weeks already.

Planning anniversary stuff
* First Date?
Went to a park together
* Best Date?
Hmmm...videotaped a day trip (to another park and around Austin, including a scenic beaute for a classic sunset)
* Stupidest Fight?
Aren't they all stupid?
* On settling conflict?
Not letting things linger overnight. Give some space but settle it the same day.
* On keeping it fresh?
Get time to yourselves; go someplace you've never been; if you have kids, get a sitter and have dates
* Advice?
Guys: listen to your lady when she needs to talk; Girls: there is not deep-seated meaning in everything your guy says or does; guys tend to be very literal.
This has been "Valentine's Day Guide By Keena" Thank you! *bows gracefully*

Sam The GreyBeard giving relationship advice ... Hmmm
- Together? - 26 yrs, pushin' 27 (married 26 this coming May)
- The secret? - Compromise, communication, cooperation. Share the burdens as well as the joys, Enjoy each others' company
- Met Cute? - In a bar! She was the head 'tender and night manager, me the crazy customer
- V-Day Plans? - Postponed until Sunday. Work interferes with weekday celebrations (both hers and mine). Quiet Dinner, Watch a DvD at home. share a bowl of Popcorn.
- First Date? - Stayed after bar closed, walked her home, talked until the sun came up. Don't ask me about what, I don't remember (hey! it was 27 years ago!)
- Best Date? - Take your pick! Any and all, except the night we thought we'd go to the movie "Apocolypse Now". Got up and walked out, definitely NOT a movie for us.
- Stupidest Fight? - Money (What else?)
- On settling conflict? - Cool down, then talk it out, ASAP!
- On keeping it fresh? - Surprise her! Make her laugh! Never the same thing twice, keep her guessing what's coming next...
- Advice? - When you decide she's the OAO (One And Only) be damn sure you're ready to commit for a lifetime and beyond. It takes work, compromise, effort. The rewards are endless...
