Newbie Impressions

Well, I've been meaning to post my impressions after starting the game a few days ago, but I found that as it was the real world infringed too much on my playing time, so it's taken this long. I remember reading posts on the forum about how immersive the game world is, and how beautiful, and how amazing to explore and discover, and I must admit, I was skeptical.
But I also knew that there was something vastly 'wrong' with every other mmorpg I've tried, so this certainly sounded different, and therefore worth a try.
Well the original posts I read were strangely correct. I find that I can't explain the game to someone else; I tried to explain it to my father, and he just looked at me strangely. But time away from the game is surreal; The first time I actually managed to walk from Kaemon to Aegus by myself without dying was the biggest thrill for me!
I guess I'm not what you'd call a serious gamer; Instead of choosing one path I'm levelling up all four, simply because there are different things I want to do at different times, and I just want the freedom to live! I guess it helps that my husband also plays, and he is just levelling up the melee path, so we can go exploring together.
Anyway, I'm thankful that my free trial doesn't end until our payday, unlike the other games I've tried, I can't imagine leaving here yet. I haven't even left the tutorial island yet, although I intend to in a few minutes - I'm not sure if it's wise (my fight is lvl 20 and my other three are not far behind) but I'm ready to see more of the world
