Just wanted to know if special armours like Aen are allowed in next Gladiator competitions and if you dont know if they were allowed in the last Gladiator competition.

They were not allowed in the last one because the old aen armors are +7 to parry (per piece) and you can't tell just by looking if a piece of armor is likely to be one of those.

I would guess that they are still not acceptable for this very reason - you can't tell if the armor is the +7 or not just by looking.

Changing the rules for each competition would create a nightmare for the CSR team. It is doubtful the rules are going to change over the armor for sure, some of the other lesser things maybe...

The thing is, the main fighters all have uber armor anyhow and only newer/poorer homins would be at a disadvantage. It wouldn't change much in the long run. Aen type armor can make a lower level fighter feel powerful against someone less equipt, but they'd still have no chance against the high end folks with Aen.

[EDIT] This post is probaby in the wrong section and may be missed by Lanist for an official response.

I am moving this to the events forum, where there is already some discussion about it.
