Where's the content? .... In front of you.

********************************
I rested under a tree. The day's hunt had tired me out and I could barely lift my sword arm. The Ragus' had been howling all night and the Capyri had snorted and bellowed nervously. I don't think any of us got any sleep.
The morning dawned crisp and clear. Cold mist crawled along the hard, frozen ground and twisted up around the trunks of trees.
One of the Yubos from the herd that had gathered near the tree noticed me. His curiosity got the better of him and he moved his head from side to side before standing on his hind legs and pawing the air. Was he trying to imitate me ... who knows.
I heard the bellowing of Capyri in the distance. They moved along a ridge line, dark shapes against the azure sky, in a slow steady line. Suddenly the line broke and they scattered. There's where the Ragus are hunting this morning I thought. Time for me to join in this chain and hunt the hunters.
********************************
YEAH .... But I wish they'de put some content in.
All the people complaining about the game having no content please open your eyes and ears.

Now that you mention it....I had nearly the same experience with one of my cats last sunday when the sun was shining on my balcony - even better as I had a very nice breakfast too.
I rather pity you guys who have to turn on the PC to experience such things

Hmmmm ... not sure about the pity!
I can't remember the last time I had the chance to chase after giant crabs witha two handed lance.
Or conjure a cloud of acid over a wolf's head for that matter.
Seriously though. I'm as capable of appreciating nature as the next man ... or woman.
I had to stop someone in the street and comment on how beautiful the sky was this summer just past. It was a brilliant orange and the sun was casting beams of silver light through breaks in the clouds.

Sorry - I must have missed these things in your original post.
Because youre right with the above - THATS a reason to turn on the PC, to experience peril and adventure, to fight for your live and to make yourself a name in an untamed land....
...enjoying *nature* and the sight of cute animals on the other hand is NOT - its just sad.

Love the writing, you should definatly do some RP articles.
However, that is not content. That's an excellent graphics engine and a very vivid imagination.
Content is the provision of optional differing gameplay. Current content therfore seems to be limited to hack n slash, craft or resource gathering.
Three options of gameplay choice do not make good content. Hell, in the modern MMO market the do not even make 'content'.
Sorry to disagree so strongly.

Nice text, as mentioned you should definately write some more, maybe contact Lawrence and see if you can get in the newsletter
As for the content, its early days yet, people are still getting the guilds off the ground and we know we have two patches coming which will help in this area.
