Partial solution to too few landmarks

Surprisingly enough, landmarks are not actually kept on the server, but on the client side. In fact they are saved in the file
Ryzom Folder\save\charname.icfg
where Ryzom Folder is where you have the game installed.
What you can do is have several copies of this file, with each one containing landmarks for a particular region for example. If you know you will be going to be adventuring in a particular region, just copy that particular file in to your save folder, before you log in to your character.
This file also contains settings for window placements, macros etc., except for key assignments, which are in
Ryzom Folder\save\charname.xml
