Can't Connect (Error Code 1)

I seem to have a small problem logging into Ryzom. I only have a trail, until Feb. 2, and I would really like to play. Could anyone suggest anything or maybe send someone my way to help? I appreciate the time anyone took to read this, and ask that you do no more than you can. I would never ask anyone to go out of thier way for me, so don't.

Error code 1, according to our
FAQ for Error messages, means that you have no connection to the login server. So you may have to open the ports needed by the game, as listed in our
FAQ on Networking and
FAQ on LinkSys problems. If you need real time help then drop into
Klients
