Greetings,
Have been pouring through the forms, game guides, and FAQ after only playing a few days. Still trying to resolve some technical issues but so far the game is ok. Just a couple of questions though.

1 - I played WoW and SWG primarily as a hunter/explorer which is what I like to do. What might be a good class/race for that if I might ask? I selected a Zorat right now but not finding the skills/templates not very intuitive on what to train for next.

2 - Is there a place where I might lookup what each skill does? I have been trying prospecting as a secondary skill but don't know what some of the mods/skills do such as Prospecting Counterpart.

3 - Is there a guide other then the ingame guide on a good way to launch your character in a particular direction?

Like I said above, I really enjoy hunting and exploration. I solo alot but often group up with folks I meet in the wild to help them out or get help but due to RL demands find it hard to join a guild or anything. Guess just looking for a little nudge in the write directoin for my character and I do love to RP too.

1 - There are no restrictions on what you can do. It is up to you how your character develops and if you don't like what you have you can always train and change it.

No problem, it was an honest question and one which comes up many times on SoR.

It can be a culture shock moving from, shall we say, games with a fixed view on what you shall be or what you are allowed to do.

Before the NGE, I wouldn't call SWG that ... you could use your skill points however you liked (XP allowing) and drop skills to get the points back. Now, however, you're totally defined by class and level, and I'm not there anymore.

To the OP, things will become clearer in time, but I'll tell you this: that "Counterpart" stanza allows you to pay for actions you wish to take, it's the only means to use your (in this case) focus. It's a credit, try editing some actions and play around with things.
