Reconnectiong and network problems

I write just to ask for a little feature, which i know it is a difficult job for the Nevrax team.

The fact is that i'm connected through a quite unstable wlan (until we decide to rearrange our accespoints), and i also have a brother with an unstable connection, which i don't have more info about. What i wanted to ask is if a more reliable connection system could be implememted, that allowed reconnections directly from the client, without all the hassle of having to close the game, waiting 30 seconds to avoid having to do the same again, and waiting for all the load process to complete.
I've been killed at least five or six times because of that, and i think there must be some way to allow this behaviour, as after all, connections get identified with username and password, so i suppose it's not a security issue!

I know it may be even impossible, and i don't know how it works, but it would be a serious issue fixed, from my point of view.

btw, i wish i was the only one i've seen going net-dead in the middle of teaming, battling and so on!

If you haven't done so already, make sure to open port UDP 47851 in your firewall and router.

If you haven't gotten the full 'disconnected from server' messgae, then you may be able to refresh things by tweaking some graphics or sound settings in the game configuration window.

One post and it's a slag on Neverax... tsk tsk tsk.

I will also add that the problem may be your system... When I was using another system (for 4 months) I had stoppage a plenty... blamed it on many things, didn't like it. I did find out that it was typically on my end... the system or whatever was the clog. Resetting my cable modem and staying in the game reduced the problem substantially. RAM made a crap system play the game sweetly...

I will not say Nevrax is the most responsive company, but they made a game that requires more resources than most. Reconnecting via the modem may surprise you as the game is fine... it may be waiting on your system to get right.

Everytime I rebooted my modem (after a presumed lock-up after teleporting or entering apartment/GH) and "lock up" it would "Synchronizing" and fix the lock up... until I discovered that I was relogging, you may have other options...

btw, it is just a feature request, not a slag :)

doubt it is my system, because i also used my parent's home pc, which has a dsl router that likes to jam when there's a lot of udp traffic and the same happened.
well, i'll try opening the udp port, which i haven't yet done.. excuse me if this is fixed by just opening that port, didn't read the docs.

ps:Yes, i often get partial "disconnections", but i only have to restart the game when it displays the full "disconnected from server" message
