OK a year has gone by and it was spent playing alot of other online games, I met someone in another game and they told me Outposts had been implemented, seeing as their non-implementation was a key reason for my leaving, I figured I would have a look-see
So, anyway, I had a look around, I still know bugger-all about the Outposts, but people dont seem overly happy about how they work and that dis-illusioned me somewhat.
My fame has been reduced to NIL (so no TP for me
, TP is for lazy buggers anyway 
), I have to walk everywhere and I have had half my heal powers stolen by some culprit, I had to walk to Thesos to get my mount >.< and was just really feeling a mite tetchy regarding Ryzom, when I realised.....
For the last two days of my soujorn here, I haven't been playing as such, just hanging out and talking to old friends and meeting new players and chatting.... I had totally forgotten how unique the community is here, I have had nothing but offers of help everywhere I turn, Props to Morgaine for my beautiful white Matis heavy armour and likewise, props to Praha for my light armour (the izams are crapping themselves now I bet ), and a big thank you to Final for weapons and everything else, to help smooth my return to Atys .
So anyway I want to say hi to all who knew Valda, that I haven't met yet, and I hope to see you all in the next few days.
Thanks for keeping Ryzom in such beautiful and friendly shape and long may it stay that way.
To anybody thinking of leaving, remember this saying :
The far off fields are green....but they still have to be ploughed
