New player and patching on dial-up...

I am new to Ryzom as I just bought the game today. I am on a dial-up connection, yeah I know, if I could get broadband I would, but we don't even have ISDN available. I know the game is almost 2 years old, but I am curious as to the approximate size of all the patches. Are we talking a few hundred MBs or a few Gbs?

i'd estimate about 150-200 MB at the moment

Last I remember it was 333 MB. Least for me it was and that was back during New Years.

Actually, only took me a couple days on dial up. Just don't cancel in the middle of a large file. :)

The game actually runs well on dial-up, it's just the patching process that sucks. Any chance someone nearby you has broadband that you can hook up to for 20 minutes every week or two?

Noin.
