Client error message

After the latest patch Janurary 12th 2006 my client gives me this error when i try to connect to the english community:
"Error: the shard is closed."
It happens every time, i get to write my password and press connect then the client checks for patches, the end user licence agreement appears and i press 'i accept' and then this message appears. It says the server are online, and i've checked that my account still is open, i've also tried to restart the client acouple of times but nothing seems to help. So now i wonder, what is wrong and can i do something about it?
