Drills

Just a question, since descriptions are in French (my french is a bit rusty) and not 100% clear to all of us... There's 4 types of drills.

First kind says it produces mats and flowers... no problem there. Second and third kind say in their description that they produce "materials and flowers x1.5/2". The fourth kind says mats, flowers and crystals.

The question is: Is the rate that the drills produce mats at the same for all of them? Cause I'd suspect they are

1 + 1
1 + 1.5
1 + 2
1 + 1 + 1

Or is it

1 + 1
1.5 + 1.5
2 + 2
1 + 1 + 1

Would be nice to know for sure...

imho there is no exact "rate" for craftable mats :-) .. or it's like dice is rolled every 12 hours (for example) and it determines if you get that mat or not ;-)

consumables seems to be regular and 1.5x or 2x does increase their rate.

The first drill I bought (the 10mil one) was the most expensive mat and flower one. Flowers multiplied like rabbits while the mats were 1-2 a day. So likely 1.5.

We've switched to the flower/mat/crystal one now (the 6.5mil one) and the mats seem to be about 1 a day (maybe less). The crystals are approx 14 stacks a day and the flowers multiple like half a rabbit.

Sorry I don't have any specific number though other than that.

It would be nice if we could have the option for a drill that does crystals and mats only. The flowers are produced in huge quantities and considering they last 60 mins after activation I cannot see a scenario where you could ever use them all up (especially as a lot of them are relatively useless).

Give them to friends! Give them to girls, or boys! :D

There are loads of Homins around that need a little love.

Yeah the flowers are a nice extra, but getting them at an accelerated rate seems to be a waste. The mats however, are more worth it, and would most likely be worth losing crystal production over an improved mat rate (not the case for all mats tho).

Point is, are the most expensive drills effectively digging up twice as many mats as the crystal ones? A clarification of the info would be nice, since the current ones lead me to believe that only flower production is increasded for the more expensive kinds. And imho, that isn't worth losing the crystal production.

Seems like the drill that not gives crystals is the best one for OP mats
Other drills give u more degrades :/

Not sure if its a matter of cost or if you're doing multiple things. I only have the 2 drills to compare.

With most expensive ones, I mean the x2 ones. The x1 and x1.5 ones are obsolete unless you are short on dappers to buy the others.

The Crystal Drills make a crystal every 7.5 seconds (I think)

They make a flower every 1 hour

They make a mission mat for crafting every 12 hours (! some outposts seem to vary this speed)
