Need Password Help

I can log into the Ryzom forums, and I can log in to the "Saga of Ryzom" game itself. But I can't log into my Ryzom account profile.

Repeated attempts to get a new password for this have NOT been working, each password I am emailed fails when I try to get into my Ryzom account profile.

My Ryzom free trial will expire soon but I am not being allowed to log in to my account profile to order my first Ryzom subscription with my credit card.

I am afraid my 5 Ryzom characters will be deleted. Please help.

If I purchase a Ryzom subscription will the 5 characters I built up during my free trial period be overwritten by a new Ryzom account?

Note that those passwords are different, but I think you are aware of that already.

Can you elaborate on how the password fails?
When you request a new account password, a link should be mailed to your listed email address. Following that link generates a new random password that you should save for future reference. I've never had a problem with that password.

If you continue to have problems I would suggest downloading klients. Its a live chat tool with the support GMs.

If you need to cancel but cant access account management and have trouble with klients i think they tell you to email billing-ee@ryzom.com or something like that.

Contact them as Sycrest said... but don't worry about your characters. They will be around for awhile (I believe anything above level 20 stays for 90 days IIRC)... surely long enough for you to get this worked out.

If you registered for Ryzom with a credit card, you will automatically be signed up for a subscription unless you login to your account profile and cancel before the 7 day free trial is up. Free trial accounts are safe for at least 90 days if you do cancel.

As to having problems with using the account profile password, clear your browser file cache and make sure adblocking and the like is disabled. You may also need to set your browser security down a little if it is set higher than normal.

Can Ryzom admins manually send a working password to my ark014@yahoo.com email address, for use in logging into my account profile? I very much want to turn my free trial account into a Ryzom subscription using my credit card.

I don't believe I gave my credit card number when my free trial account for Ryzom was created.

I am an ex-SWG player, belong to the ex-SWG player forum http://www.imperialcrackdown.com, and have been trying to promote Ryzom among my fellow SWG "refugees". Ryzom is a very appealing game, it reminds me of the level of detail found in "Star Wars Galaxies" before that game was ruined by the "NGE" changes.

:-/ I didn't think the option exists for making a trial without account information.


It used to many many months ago but was removed.


Can you elaborate why clicking on the password link send in the email to you doesn't work? If its a problem with your email address then the GMs could help you through klients.

When I get home tonight I will attempt to create an account profile password again, I am hoping it works this time. I will try this at about 5PM CST (I live near Chicago, Illinois, USA).

I will shut off my Norton Internet Security and take the other precautions you mentioned in an earlier post.

I believe my free trial Ryzom account expires today, or did expire yesterday.

I don't remember if I gave my credit card information.

If I made a NEW Ryzom account -- a PAID account -- would my existing Ryzom chars (from my free trial) be found in this new account? Or would I be advised to try to correct my password troubles, get into my existing account, and modify it so that it becomes a PAID account?

I am hoping there is a grace period, that the 5 characters in my free trial Ryzom account will continue to exist for 90 days, they are all low-level, level 8 or less.

If you make a new account, your characters won't be transferred to the new account, they will stay in the old one. The characters will be stored for a minimum of 90 days, but usually for a longer period of time.

I suggest as previously mentioned that you contact support-ee@ryzom.com if you have trouble getting your account profile password working.

When you created your account you either had to choose the PayByCash option or the Bibit option. Incase you choose the PayByCash, you did not enter any payment details and will have to enter your account profile page and subscribe.

If you choose the Bibit option, you have already entered your credit card information and your account will automatically be converted to a subscribed account. If you think your 7 day free trial has passed and you still have access to the game and forums, you have probably used this last option and have a one month active subscription.
