How much negative faction Fame is too much??

What kind of reprocussion do you get if it is too far to the negative??

Example: is there a limit at which you will no longer be able to get into certain cities?

-50 with given faction, youl'll become KOS.
for example, -50 with tryker and tryker town guards will gank you

Do I now stay out of certain towns, say like capitals or smaller towns?

How do you lower your civilisation fame like that (assuming this wasn't with tribe missions ) - does changing Kami/Karavan fame now affect civilisation fame?

Be aware that Kami/Karavan and the racefame is no longer linked. You can be a Kami/Tryker without getting killed by karavan/matis guards.
So unless you killed matis repeatedly (or whatever race) they will leave you alone.

Important distinction here:

Tryker is a civilisation not a faction.

If you have -51 (to be sure as Spriteh says) with Karavan, the matis guards WONT kill you. This is a definite fact, since I went to Yrk the other night with -80something fame with karavan and the guards ignored me. I assume other city guards will be the same.

The temple guards will KOS tho.

But so far the Karavan around the Tps don't, they just wont sell you TPs.

I am over -60 Kami and undetermined (but positive pre-patch) racial fame. Only the Kamist temple guards and the Lagoon Brothers attack so far as I can tell. No town guards or other tribes that I've visited so far.

Only tribe I've found so far that have changed their attitude since I lowered my karavan fame is the Renegades near Dyron who now KOS.

On another note, I thought Kami sentinels were supposed to KoS Kara cultists (and Kara guardians against Kami cultists), but it seems that isn't so... So basically nothing has changed except civilisations (and you have to do something seriously wrong to get -51 civ fame) and tribe fame, right?
