The hills aren't alive with the sound of music?

I didn't think there was any music in this game, but then I died! and I got to listen to a very nice piece of music! horrah!
But... why can I only listen to music when I die? why is there no music elsewhere in the game? :S
Do the developers plan to add any more music to the game? because it can get a little dull just listening to the little horrifying screams of yubos as I end their puny insignificant lives with one glorious stomp of my foot!

lmao xD
There is "ambient" music when you enter a capital city (yrk, zora, pyr, fh) and the game has an inbuilt mp3 player

The music in SoR seems a bit sporatic at best... there is usually music when you enter cities and when you die. Not sure about other times as I've not played much with the music on.
There is a built in MP3 player though if you wanted to add more music. I realize thats not exactly what you had in mind, but it can at least down out those Yubos!
Edit: damn those fast fingers of yours spriteh!

Listen to the Music of Nature *sighs*
Birds chirping, predators howling, animals hooting, the giant branches groaning, the wind whispering around you...
I LOVE it!
Allright I listen to music on mp3 but only very, very small in the background...
I´m an avid Music Fan and collector and the score of SoR is unique in its own way, but not so much as InGame Music, but more to listen to it and just enjoy.
InGame I like the ever changing surrounding sound better, then always having the same score blaring in my ears wherever I run.

I think thre is no ambien music on purpose. With ambient music all the time you'd miss the sounds of the creatures around you. Which I personally like alot.
Sounds of creatures are really useful too in a fight. Hearing someone behind you in a trek getting hit is endlessly useful. Hearing a clopper run up nearby in time to hit that speed run, endlesssly useful.

the music you hear in game was composed by Bjørn Arve Lagim, the composer who also did the soundtrack to 'the longest journey' (the best adventure game imo) and afaik he's not japanese
