And it's gone down at exactly the same time the last three nights.

Running reports?

Managers go home and night shift all simultaneously log on to check email?

Server turns into a pumpkin?

Tin.

The reboots the last two nights have been preceded by gamestopping lag. I suspect a memory leak in the server code that eventually eats up all the server memory forcing them to reboot to reclaim the memory. If that's it, it will be fixed as soon as they find the offending code and fix it.

Also, what is up with the NA server still being in Europe. I thought they were due to move it to US by now but someone posted earlier that they did a traceroute and the server is still in Europe. Putting it in the US won't fix a memory lead but will definitely help the overall lag situation.

That is what I was wondering...about the memory leak some where. Frustrating as all get out though. More to why I replied though, someone told me in game, that the server was in Paris. I had been asking why, with a DSL my pings were in the four-hundreds.

Maybe the Lag Monster ate your subscribers.

I've been reading the Euro-English boards and they are also complaining of excessive lag. So it's not just an NA problem and not necessarily related to the 400+ pings we all have here. Not that moving the server to NA is a BAD idea, I just don't think it's the answer to our lag issues.

Sigh, I am a bit worried that they have not taken this issue seriously enough to wake thier message board interface person and have them post a update. I dont mean to whine, but communication and the lack of can rate very highly with people who are soon to pay, if just for server notices, its enough.

Thanks for good game, now once again, give it a go. Lets make it a great game.

Oh, and tribunal, go take your trolls to some place like eq pvp servers where you will fit right in, the first post in this thread is NOT from a game company person. Lord some people.

Well i play on the NA server but i live in Norway and i get 400 ping too ... as far as i know i live in europe and shouldnt get 400 ping when connected to a server in paris, but i am. So im pretty sure it wont help much to move the server to the NA but if they change the harware and some of the code it might get better.
The problem isnt the server sitting in Paris .. the problem is something else.
